YEAH!! Dr. Spetzler said the surgery couldn't have gone better for Rhea- Rhea! She is doing good and is already in the ICU. Dr. Spetzler was able to remove most of the tumor (which is called a "low-grade glioma"). It has been sent off to the pathology lab where it will be evaluated. We will get the results (benign or malignant) in a few days. I will post the results as soon as we know. She will be in the ICU for 1-2 days, then in recovery for about 4 more days. This is a huge answer to prayer and I just want to thank everyone who has prayed for her and our family. It was felt by all of us!!
