Happy Halloween!

Much to all our surprise, Rachel wanted to be a Wakeland High cheerleader this year for Halloween. (usually she chooses and animal of some sort...for example, a dog, bunny, kitty, and yes a bear!)

She makes a pretty cute cheerleader:)

Almost

Rachel had an "almost" sleepover for her 8th Birthday. An almost sleepover is such a great idea. It is all the fun of a sleepover, without the actual sleeping over!

She did get to pick one friend to actually spend the night, so of course she picked Ava!

I can't believe my little baby is 8! How can it be?She got to have a birthday "season" as we like to call it in my family:) She started off her season with a little family party.
She got a new desk from mom and dad (pictures were too dark!), and a purple bean bag chair from Nana and Pop Pop!

Sparklers!

Rachel is in a cute new group called the Sparklers! (think Girl Scouts) A bunch of mom's from the neighborhood decided to form a little girls club, where we all meet once a month for some fun, service projects and learning. This is our first meeting...getting to know you games...

Soccer!

I am not sure if I mentioned this before, but Rachel LOVES soccer! This season her little soccer team went to the big FCDallas game. Kids and parents had a great time!Rachel's team being silly!

Back to school 2010

Rachel and Preston are ready for a new school year! Rach posing outside of school. She is excited to be starting second grade:)

Summer 2010 "Sum-Up"

I don't know about you... but our summer flew by! Here are a few things we did:)

We had a lot of "lazy" days....

made some fun projects...
got wisdom teeth out...

adopted a new baby, I mean puppy....

Rach went to a really hard soccer camp and won an award!

Preston went to a really hard wrestling camp, did awesome, hurt his knee, got a staff infection and had to come home early:( That sucked!

Jeff and Heather went on their annual river trip to Gruene Texas with some friends...

We had tons of fun...

and stayed in a gorgeous B&B.

Jeff's whole side of the family met in Destin, Fl. and had an awesome time!
