We decided to stay close to home this year for spring break and get some things done around our house. We did plan a fun camping trip though! We drove a few hours away to go through a neat drive through zoo. Nana and Pop Pop followed us down in their car then we all piled in ours!

This was such a cool place. The animals were so tame. They came right up to the car and ate out of our hands.
We got to see some adorable babies too! Rachel and I wanted to take these little twins home!
What a fun day! After the Zoo we found a beautiful camp site to spend the evening.

Rachel helped with the tent. Gotta love the hat! We had a fun night making smores and sitting by the fire. We had a not so fun night of forgetting our pillows and freezing to death! Rachel "slept" with mommy in the same sleeping bag. There was not very much sleeping happening. I always say I can handle anything for one night:)
Morning did come though and a bag of powdered do-nuts makes everything right!
