"I'm dreaming of a white Christmas"!It happened! We had snow on Christmas in Dallas for the first time in 80 years!!


It started coming down in big fluffy flakes on Christmas Eve morning, and snowed all day and late into the night. We were so excited:)

Thanksgiving in Port Aransas

This year for Thanksgiving we drove to Port Aransas Tx. for a fun long weekend with Nana and Pop pop. They have been a few times and love to spend time in this quiet little beach town. The ride down was beautiful!



Rach rode with Nana, Pop pop and Annie almost the whole way down there (7hrs!)

Port Aransas is almost completely surrounded by water so you have to drive your car onto a water taxi to get across. It was super fun!

Wrestling Action Shots!

Team Captian!

Preston made captain for the wrestling team! He will be co-captains with his good friend Michael. It was kind of a big deal this year. He had to go through a whole interview process with the coaches and the assistant principle and write an essay about why he would be a good captain. When the coach selected him, he told him he couldn't think of a better person to represent what he wants the team to be like. I have to agree with the coach!

Gary Burns 5K

Last year Preston did the Frisco 5k and took 19th place out of 800 people! Jeff and I were so inspired that we decided to run it this year too:)

Nana and Pop Pop got up at the crack of dawn to cheer us on!


Here is Preston rounding the corner to take 21st place over all with a time of 19:30!!! He beat his time from last year by 30 seconds! We are all so proud of him. Too bad he doesn't really like to run because he is REALLY good at it:)
After Preston passed, Rachel, Nana and Pop Pop still had to wait 10 more minutes for Mommy and Daddy to pass!!!



We made it! Our goal was to run the whole time and try to beat 30 minutes. We did it! in 29 minutes!!

It was really fun and I might be hooked!
